A tailor made  education abroad course focused on research methodologies. This 3 week course is specifically interesting for undergraduate students in the field of African politics and economics, international development, African anthropology studies, students who plan to collect original data for an undergraduate thesis project or for research after graduation. The course consists of a combination of lectures, applied assignments, lectures and structured educational experiences. It will provide the students with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct high quality social science research in a developing country context and focus on mastering practical skills and methodologies that are in high demand in the international development community and academia. The course will introduce students to individuals and organisations engaged in research in Malawi and give them the possibility to interact with students from the University of Malawi in Zomba. This program will be set up in close collaboration with The Institute of Public Opinion and Research (IPOR) and the foreign University.
